Welcome to my journal blog, my place to write in order to work out my thoughts and feelings as I navigate life.

I’m a divorcee, full time working mum and part time student that has re-partnered and is navigating the blended family scene, sometimes with success, sometimes not!

Who are we?

Master11 – my youngest son, old beyond his years and cheeky as they come!

Master14 – my eldest son, has a heart of gold but struggles with spectrum disorder issues  on top of the usual teenager angst (and hates school with a passion)

MrZ – After four years of being single and occasionally on and off the dating scene I met Mr Z in October 2013. I called him Mr Z because I don’t enjoy the single scene and I want him to be the last person I date, ever!

B – the ex husband, my boys father and a persistent source of frustration! My marriage to him ended in 2009.

  1. I can truly relate to the ex-husband as a persistent source of frustration! I have two daughters (their father is my ex-husband) getting married and it would be so nice if he would cooperate for once! (You have great taste in blog themes.) 🙂

    • Oh no, it doesn’t stop when they grow up does it? I’ve been waiting till mine are older and I won’t have much to do with him but then there will be weddings, and grandchildren, etc. Argh! Good luck with yours!

I love your blog, the law of attraction and similar concepts fascinate me. I am quite sceptical and don’t believe anything until I can experience for myself, but I have experienced enough to know there’s something to it and there’s much more to this life than we see on the surface, we just have to look and listen harder.
